Associate Professor (PhD) Clement Salung Petersen, Faculty of Law
The aim of this PhD course is to introduce PhD students from the Social Sciences to the fundamental concepts of research ethics, i.e. "Good Scientific Practice" and "Scientific Dishonesty".

The course will focus on the following topics:
- What are "Good Scientific Practice" and "Scientific Dishonesty"?
- Using the works of others: How to avoid an accusation of "plagiarism"- from an ethical and legal
perspective
- Research collaboration: Rules on authorship and disclosure of the terms of collaboration
- Multiple publications of the same scientific work
- The legal protection of personal data - and its implications for researchers
- Restrictions on using the name and logo of the University of Copenhagen
