Aim and content
Aim
The summer school objectives are to stimulate networking between PhD students affiliated with the Drug Research Academy (DRA) and networking between PhD students and senior researchers in pharmaceutical sciences. It offers a chance for PhD students to discuss their project with other PhD students and supervisors. Furthermore, PhD students will obtain transferable skills relevant to the stage of progress of their PhD study and project.

Content
Day 1 is a mixture of PhD students’ presentations and plenary lectures:
Presentation of DRA PhD students’ projects: 3rd year PhD students will present their projects orally and 2nd year PhD students will present their projects on posters.
During day 1, two to three plenary keynote speakers will give a lecture on broad topics relevant to PhD students in pharmaceutical sciences.

The oral presentations and posters will be reviewed by a committee of DRA supervisors. Prizes to best oral presentations and best poster will be granted.

DRA PhD students, DRA scholars and supervisors participate in day 1.

Day 2 will be workshops on transferable skills for PhD students divided into 1st, 2nd and 3rd year curriculum (for instance, project & time management, supervision, and career development).

DRA PhD students participate in day 2.
