Aim and content
This is a generic course. This means that the course is reserved for PhD students at the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences at UCPH. Anyone can apply for the course, but if you are not a PhD student at the Graduate School, you will be placed on the waiting list until enrollment deadline. After the enrolment deadline, available seats will be allocated to the waiting list.

The course is free of charge for PhD students at Danish universities (except Copenhagen Business School). All other participants must pay the course fee.

Learning objectives
The aim of the course is to make the participants able to
- do reproducible research
- do logistics regression in Stata
- do programming, macro's loops
- do reshaping, merging and appending
Content
The course covers fundamental use of the statistical software package Stata 13 using syntax. Topics covered include: We consider some statistical details related to survival analysis and logistic regression. The aim is to take the somewhat advanced Stata user to the next level, and make use of programs and macros for more efficient use of Stata. Perhaps also do some more advanced graphics.

Participants
Ph.D.-students and health researchers with a basic knowledge of statistics corresponding to the course on basic statistics for health researchers. Max. 15 participants.
