Aim and content
This course is free of charge for PhD students at Danish universities (except Copenhagen Business School). Special rules apply for research year students enrolled at Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at UCPH. All other participants must pay the course fee.
Anyone can apply for the course, but if you are not a PhD student, you will be placed on the waiting list for the course until enrollment deadline. After the deadline of enrollment, available seats will be allocated to students on the waiting list.

Learning objectives
The Aim of the course is to stimulate networking between students and supervisors in MoMeD and to introduce MoMeD students to career options after finishing their PhD, by inviting former Momed students to tell about their career choices. A student who has met the objectives of the course will be able to:

b. Get insight in different Career paths and choices to be made with regards to finishing their PhD and getting a job
c. Acquire knowledge of molecular mechanisms of disease and extend their scientific network

Content
The MoMeD Summer School 2018 will feature scientific presentations in the area of molecular mechanisms of disease performed by the participating students as either talks or poster presentations. In addition, a session will provide information on different scientific career paths, and how to describe personal and scientific competencies.
