The course is mandatory for students in the graduate programme MoMeD and DRA and therefore these students have first priority. This means that all applicants will be put on the waiting list upon registration, and after deadline all participants will be notified whether they are given a seat.

The course is free of charge for PhD students at Danish universities (except Copenhagen Business School). All other participants must pay the course fee.

Learning objectives
A student who has met the objectives of the course will be able to:
1. To Plan the final stage of the PhD project

2. To learn methods to keep motivation up and procrastination down

3. To implement Business Model You® to envision the next career step

4. To understand the importance of your networking

Content
In this training, PhD students will learn methods to plan the final stage of their research project. These emphasize keeping motivation up dealing with potential conflicts, focusing on the right priorities, and avoiding procrastination. They will learn to use the Business Model You® approach. This model helps each person to clarify their value to potential employers. With this model in hand, they can plan their next career steps.

One of the most important factors to find the next job in science is networking. Part of the training will deal with this topic on different levels. The PhD students will assess their current network. They will work on strategies to expand their network. And they will be part of a group of peer students who they can rely on and network with. At the end of the training they will have a detailed working plan for achieving the last milestones in their PhD project. And a clearer vision of the next career step.
