Aim and content
Course format – please read carefully before applying
This course is for PhD students enrolled at the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences only.
This online course consists of three modules that run until 31 August 2020. This means that the students can take the course in their own time until 31 August 2020.
After completing each module, the students will receive a certificate. To earn ECTS for this course the students must complete all three modules and send in the certificates.

Aim and content
The course is for PhD students who are new to publishing or wish to refresh their skills.
The course will enable PhD students to:
- Develop writing skills and confidence writing for journals
- Understand editorial processes and what editors look for
- Learn best practices for submitting a paper and peer review
