Content
In this training, you will learn methods to plan the final stage of your research project. These emphasize keeping motivation up, dealing with potential conflicts, focussing on the right priorities, and avoiding procrastination.
You will learn to use the Business Model You® approach. This model helps each of you to clarify your interests, skills, own values, and abilities. You then can assess your value to potential employers. With this model in hand, you can plan your next career steps.
One of the most important factors to find the next job in science is networking. Part of the training will deal with this topic on different levels. All participants will assess their current network. You will work on strategies to expand your network. And you will be part of a group of peer students who you can rely on and network with. At the end of the training you will have a detailed working plan for achieving the last milestones in your PhD project, and a clearer vision of the next career step.
Please note that in the afternoon on both days there will be a few short presentations which are mainly relevant for PhD students enrolled at SUND.
