Aim and content
Special enrollment rules apply for this course:
1) Please note that this course is reserved for selected PhD students from the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences at UCPH, AAU and SDU.
2) All PhD students who are not enrolled at the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences at UCPH must cover their own expenses for transportation and accommodation
3) The course is mandatory for PhD students enrolled in the Graduate Programme Clinical Cancer Research.
All applicants will be put on the waiting list upon registration. After the application deadline, all applicants will be informed on whether they have been enrolled in the course or if they remain on the waiting list.
The course is free of charge for PhD students at Danish universities (except Copenhagen Business School), and for PhD students at NorDoc member universities.
All other participants must pay the course fee.
Learning objectives
A student who has met the objectives of the course will be able to:
1. Understand societal influence on perception of research evidence
2. Discuss scientific/research methodology
3. Have insight into current research topics
4. Present scientific results
5. Network
Content
The aim of this course is to make PhD students in oncology meet on a national plan to present and discuss their research project with each other and with national experts in their research field. National networking.
The course will include plenary presentation and topic specific educational workshops including both students and senior researchers.
Participants
Phd student enrolled in a PhD educational programme in Oncology or Haematology at KU, SUND, SDU, AU and AAU.

Seats to PhD students from other Danish universities will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and according to the applicable rules.
Applications from other participants will be considered after the last day of enrolment.
Note: All applicants are asked to submit invoice details in case of no-show, late cancellation or obligation to pay the course fee (typically non-PhD students). If you are a PhD student, your participation in the course must be in agreement with your principal supervisor.
