Release date for Basic Statistics for Health Researchers

We will announce the courses for Basic Statistics on Monday 02 June 2025 at 10:00.

Please note that if you are enrolled in one of the courses, you will be removed from the waiting list on the other courses. (However, you can be enrolled in both Introduction to R and Basic Statistics for Health Researchers).

The courses that will be announced are:

• Basic Statistics for Health Researchers - Class 4, 5, 6 and 7
• Introduction to R for Basic Statistics – Enrolment priority for the course is reserved for students registered to either the course “Basic Statistics for Health Science Researchers” or “Statistics for Experimental Research” (with the nearest starting date). Registration deadlines of the Introduction to R courses are synchronized with these two courses. Therefore, all applicants will be put on the waiting list until enrolment deadline.
• Statistics for experimental medical researchers

Please note that the Basic Statistics for Health Researchers courses have the same lecture hours but the exercise classes 4, 5, 6 and 7 take place at different times.

All classes: Lecture hours: Mondays: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 September, 6, 20, 27 October, 3, 10 November 2025, taught live all days 10.00-13.00 followed by an optional one hour live questions and answers session 13.00-14.00

Class 4: Exercise hours: Wednesdays: 3, 10, 17, 24 September, 1, 8, 22, 29 October, 5, 12 November 2025, all days 12.00-15.00.

Class 5: Exercise hours: Wednesdays: 3, 10, 17, 24 September, 1, 8, 22, 29 October, 5, 12 November 2025, all days 15.00-18.00

Class 6: Exercise hours: Thursdays: 4, 11, 18, 25 September, 2, 9, 23, 30 October, 6, 13 November 2025, all days 8.00-11.00.

Class 7: Exercise hours: Thursdays: 4, 11, 18, 25 September, 2, 9, 23, 30 October, 6, 13 November 2025, all days 11.00-14.00.

Basic Statistics (English) are only offered in spring.
