Enrolment guidelines
This course is free of charge for PhD students at Danish universities (except Copenhagen Business School), and for PhD Students from NorDoc member faculties. All other participants must pay the course fee.
Anyone can apply for the course, but if you are not a PhD student at a Danish university, you will be placed on the waiting list until enrollment deadline. This also applies to PhD students from NorDoc member faculties. After the enrollment deadline, available seats will be allocated to applicants on the waiting list.
Learning objectives
A student who has met the objectives of the course will be able to:
1. Understand the biology of aging
2. Understand how to measure aging
3. Understand the basics of a randomized clinical trial
4. Understand how to design a trial targeting aging
5. Understand how to interpret outcomes of aging trials
Content
The course covers the biological mechanisms of aging, biomarkers of biological age, longevity interventions, AI-driven drug discovery, and the principles of designing, conducting, and evaluating clinical trials targeting aging to promote healthy lifespan.
Participants
Clinicians, Clinician scientists and students within the biomedical sciences. The course will be offered online and onsite. We expect 30 online and 30 on site.
